Welcome to Firtree Pet Crematorium
Firtree Pet Crematorium was founded almost 15 years ago by the late Peter Bryan, who believed every much-loved pet deserved a final journey filled with dignity, kindness and respect.
Today, Firtree Pet Crematorium is owned and run by Jake, continuing the compassionate and personal approach that has always been at the heart of Firtree.
We understand that our pets are never simply pets. They are part of our families, our everyday lives and our memories. When the time comes to say goodbye, we are here to make that difficult time a little easier.
We offer individual pet cremation and caring collection from your home or veterinary surgery. You can also bring your pet to us by appointment, and private goodbyes can be arranged in our Sleep Tight Room.
If the time to say goodbye is approaching, we can also arrange home euthanasia through our trusted veterinary surgeon.

Individual Pet Cremation Firtree Pet Crematorium specialises in personal and bespoke pet farewells.
We pride ourselves on loving and caring for your pets. Our vet of choice is wonderful and very caring; he will enable your pet to go to sleep at home in their surroundings with their loved ones by their side, encountering as little stress as deemed possible,
My own darling pets become really stressed when visiting the vet routinely, so this is why we feel you should know.
We can usually collect your pet from your home or your vet the same day and aim to reunite their ashes with their family as soon as possible.
What will never change, though, is that your pet will be cared for by us during their last days on earth with as much love as you have for them. How you say, well, we know how much you love them because we love our pets in exactly the same way. So we will talk to and care for them lovingly, and we promise that their journey will be private.
We are open Monday to Sunday by appointment, and out-of-hours services are available on request.
We often send your pet home with a paw print and a lock of hair if this is possible. This is not an integral part of our packages, but we do it if it is physically possible, and we do not charge for this.
We take care of all pet cremation, whatever your beloved pet species belongs to: dog cremation, cat cremation, rabbit cremation, reptiles, rodents, birds... all pet cremation.
Whichever one of your family members needs guidance when crossing the rainbow bridge, call us; we will support you and your loved one with love and dignity in their final earthly journey.
We can include in our prices collection and home delivery of ashes in a wooden casket. Just ask if you wish this added.
Book your pet's appointment and talk to the team about arranging the collection and drop-off option. Please don't worry about asking us questions; we are happy to put your mind at ease. If there is something we can do, we will; equally, if we cannot, we are happy to explain why.
You can come to us and say goodbye or "sleep tight" to your baby in our quiet room, or we will come and collect your pet and bring it home to us. Once their ashes are ready to go home, we will return them to you where they belong.
Please note that we are unable to store blankets, other personal items, and pet carriers. We ask that you not send your pets to us with these items, as we do not wish to dispose of anything that may hold precious memories.
Also, it may not always be possible to get a paw print or lock of fur, but we will if nothing prevents this possibility. This process is not an integral part of the package but something we will do for pet parents if we can.
The paw print we will collect for you, if possible, will be either clay or ink, depending on the materials available.
Having your dog cremated or your cat cremated, or indeed any pet cremated, is a challenging time; we understand, and we care.

Sometimes, even though we find it hard, we often have to decide to let our pets go to sleep. As pet mums and dads, we do this when it is the kinder and only option.
Here at Whispering Lane Pet Farewells, we are associated with the most caring and kind vets who will come to your home should the painful need arise to say goodbye and carry out home euthanasia at a very affordable price, helping you to ensure you can have an individual pet cremation in the same dignified and considerate way you would wish your humans to be cared for when they reached that point in their lives. Our way will enable your pet to remain in the comfort of their home and not feel any of the anxiety they may usually feel when faced with a trip to the vet.
Home euthanasia is not something we offer; however, in turmoil, we can help you coordinate this, and we do not charge for the help when coordinating. The fees are usually payable directly to the vet for the home euthanasia. We understand that the grief experienced when you lose a pet can be disabling to the pet family, so we will do what we can to help you navigate.
We understand that all of our pets are unique; therefore, if you have something a little more specific in mind or are unsure if we will offer the cremation service for your pet, please call us and ask questions.
We are not here to sell anything to you. We are a family Pet Crematorium that cares for your pet at this time as though they were our own beloved pet.
Our only aim is to help you and your family navigate this deeply upsetting period in your lives.
